I love a touch of tortoise. It reminds me of cheetah print sort of. These are lightweight resin and a great addition to an outfit that doesn’t have prints especially.I’ll only say that I might switch out the hooks with something that won’t snag on my mask for COVID but in many places restrictions are being lifted so maybe that won’t be a problem for you. You can always add those rubber backings but these didn’t come with any which is strange.I also think gold would have looked better with these than the silver hooks they came with. Coordinates better with a warm color like brown but that’s just my opinion.The way these were displayed in the box was the most unique technique I’ve ever seen! They’re highlighted in a clear layer inside a frame. Very cute. The earrings themselves are super light, which is perfect for me. I’ve worn long, heavy dangling earrings for 20+ years and my first holes are stretched beyond belief. Most studs fall right through the hole, and most dangly ones weigh them down too much. These are big like I prefer, but don’t feel heavy. Perfect for spring, summer and fall!! They can be dressed up with a nice black dress, or dressed down with a boho jeans look. The tortoise shell color is so versatile it literally goes with everything. A must for summer.
